On March 10, 2020, the LA Alliance for Human Rights, a coalition of downtown Los Angeles residents and business owners, including persons who are currently experiencing and have formerly experienced homelessness, filed suit against the City and the County of Los Angeles for violating various State and federal laws in connection with the City's and County's alleged failures in responding to homelessness.
